Welcome to your advanced sound laboratory. Our generator has been completely redesigned to give you unprecedented control over your mental state. With the new Session Builder and Sticky Player, you can now craft complex, multi-layered soundscapes that guide you through deep meditation, intense focus, or restful sleep.
Interface Overview
The interface consists of three key components designed for flexibility and ease of use:
- Main Controls: Where you define the frequencies and parameters of your sound.
- Session Builder: Where you organize, sequence, and mix your tracks.
- Sticky Player: The persistent bar at the bottom that keeps your audio playing as you browse.
1. Main Controls: The Foundation
This section allows you to set the fundamental properties of the sound you are currently hearing or preparing to add to a session.
- Generation Mode: Choose Binaural Beats (requires stereo headphones) or Isochronic Tones (works with speakers).
- Presets: The quickest way to start. Select a state (e.g., "Deep Sleep", "Super Focus") and the generator automatically sets the optimal Beat and Carrier frequencies.
- Beat Frequency (Hz): The target frequency for your brainwaves. For example, 10 Hz induces Alpha relaxation, while 40 Hz triggers Gamma peak focus.
- Carrier Frequency (Hz): The pitch of the tone. Lower carriers (e.g., 100 Hz) feel grounding; higher ones feel more ethereal.
- Background Noise: Add "Pink Noise", "Rain", or other ambient sounds to mask distractions.
2. The Sticky Player & Visualizer
We have moved the visualization and playback controls to a Sticky Player anchored to the bottom of your screen.
- Continuous Playback: You can now navigate to other pages—to read this guide or browse presets—without stopping your session.
- Visual Feedback: The integrated mini-visualizer confirms the generator is active and lets you "see" the frequency oscillation.
- Global Control: Pause, play, or adjust the master volume from anywhere on the site.
3. The Session Builder: Create Mixed Soundscapes
The Session Builder is the heart of the new experience. It allows you to chain tracks together (Sequential) or play them at the same time (Mixed).
Adding Tracks
To build a session, simply configure a sound in the Main Controls and click "Add Track". The track will appear in your session list.
Sequential vs. Mixed Playback
By default, tracks added to the list play Sequentially (one after another). This is perfect for creating a guided progression, such as a 20-minute session that starts in Beta (focus) and gradually descends to Theta (meditation).
How to Create a Mixed Session (Layering):
Want to play multiple tones at once? You can now layer tracks to create rich, harmonic chords.
- Add multiple tracks to your session list using the "Add Track" button.
- Check the selection box next to the tracks you want to combine.
- Click the "Mix Selected" button.
The selected tracks will be grouped into a "Mixed Tracks" card and will play simultaneously. You can even combine single tracks and mixed groups in the same timeline!
Individual Volume Control
Every track in the Session Builder—whether standing alone or inside a mix—has its own Volume Slider. This is crucial for mixing: you can keep your primary entrainment frequency loud while fading in a secondary harmonic tone at a lower volume for a subtle, sophisticated effect.
